SAFETY

With a relentless fixation on safety, Phenix Aviation strictly adhere to the most rigorous safety standards. We hold and maintain an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) n° FR.AOC.0056 delivered by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations.

Phenix Aviation has developed its own Safety Management System (SMS) which takes a proactive and predictive approach to safety, striving to identify and mitigate potential risks before they affect the operation. 

 

Our organization is subjected to several audits every year with the authority (DGAC) as well as with our internal quality department.

​

Every Phenix Aviation flight is operated in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations and company procedures.

​

All aircrafts are maintained to rigorous European safety standards set by the EASA in approved maintenance centers.

​

Phenix Aviation Flight Crew and ground staff are selected to stringent requirements according to our company policies and EASA regulations. Every pilot goes through training and checking once every year.

 

Phenix Aviation flights always have a crew of  two pilots in the flight deck.

FOUNDER, ACCOUNTABLE MANAGER & CREW TRAINING MANAGER

JEAN BORIE

Jean BORIE founded Phenix Aviation in 2001, under his leadership Phenix Aviation has developed into a sustainable and prosperous company despite a very competitive market and tough economic environment. 

Gifted with a natural talent to bring people together as a team, he leads the way as General Manager, Director Of Operation, Crew Training Manager and Chief Financial Officer. He is an expert in the Business Aviation industry, and also a Type Rating Examiner and Instructor on all the aircrafts of the fleet with more than 13,000 hours of flights.

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

FREDERIC STALIN

Frédéric STALIN has been working in the business and commercial aviation industry for more than 20 years. He started his aviation career at "Air Normandie" in the late 80's, and worked for 10 years to bring the airline to its absolute best, operating more than 20 aircrafts, and dozen of routes daily. He went on to work as a wealth management advisor, building a large portfolio of clients, before he was nominated as Chief Commercial Officer at Phenix Aviation in 2015.

SAFETY MANAGER

JEAN-PAUL DUBOScQ

Jean-Paul Duboscq has been working as Phenix Aviation' Safety Manager since 2009, having experience as an airline pilot on the ATR, he started as a first officer on the King Air and upgraded to Safety Manager. He is also an engineer working for Le Havre' harbor.

CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGER

FRANCOIS MAURIN

Before joining Phenix Aviation, Francois started his aviation career as an Engineer with Airbus, for whom he worked several years. He joined Phenix Aviation as a King Air first officer before upgrading to captain. He successfully moved up to the airline industry, and recently upgrade to the left seat in the A320. Nevertheless, he's still working for Phenix as our Continuing Airworthiness Managing Officer.

COMPLIANCE MONITORING MANAGER

KELLY PAVAN

Kelly started his career with Phenix Aviation in 2015 as a First Officer on the King Air 350. He then got involved with our Compliance Monitoring department as a Quality Auditor. He recently got promoted as Compliance Monitoring Manager and Line Training Captain on our King Air 350 Fleet.
